I recently came across this link that Kotaku shared on Maingear's Alpha 34, a line of all-in-one gaming PCs.
Funny thing because not long ago, I was on the throne looking for a cheap all-in-one PC for my mom when I stumbled across all-in-one PC frames for DIY builds. I mean, how cool is it that you can have the performance of a desktop PC and still be able to carry it around because all the hardware and the screen share the same chassis?
So yeah, while Maingear's machine starts at a hefty price of $1999 (I decided to forgo building a new computer this winter because I am out of school and out of employment right now) I think its devilishly sweet that its built into an ultra-wide 34" screen. I can see more all-in-one PCs popping up in the future of gaming. Seriously, I'm jealous that kids will be totin' their gaming rigs to school someday.
